Based on Article 13 of the Swiss Federal Constitution and the data protection provisions of the Swiss Confederation (Federal Act on Data Protection, FADP), every person has the right to the protection of their privacy and to protection against the misuse of their personal data. The operators of these pages take the protection of your data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection provisions and this privacy policy.

Together with our hosting providers, we make every effort to protect our databases as far as possible against unauthorised access, loss, misuse or falsification.

Processing of personal data

Personal data is any information that relates to an identified or identifiable person. A data subject is a person about whom personal data is processed.   • We process personal data in accordance with Swiss data protection law. Furthermore, to the extent and insofar as the EU GDPR is applicable, we process personal data on the following legal bases in connection with Art. 6 (1) GDPR:
    Lit. a) Processing personal data with the data subject’s consent.
  • lit. b) Processing of personal data to fulfil a contract with the data subject and to implement corresponding pre-contractual measures.
  • lit. c) Processing of personal data to fulfil a legal obligation to which we are subject under any applicable law of the EU or any applicable law of a country in which the GDPR is applicable in whole or in part.
  • lit. d) Processing of personal data to protect the vital interests of the data subject or another natural person.
  • lit. f) Processing personal data to protect our legitimate interests or those of third parties unless the data subject’s fundamental freedoms, rights, and interests are overridden. Legitimate interests include, in particular, our business interest in being able to provide our website, information security, the enforcement of our legal claims and compliance with Swiss law.

We process personal data for the duration required for the respective purpose or purposes. We restrict processing accordingly regarding longer-term retention obligations due to legal and other obligations to which we are subject.

Cookies and consent management

Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device when you visit this website. They make it possible, for example, to keep the site secure and working correctly or to measure in aggregate form how the website is used.

Without SSL/TLS encryption

As the website operator, we are in no way liable for any damage you may suffer due to data loss or manipulation.

Data that you enter in online forms on this website may be processed on our behalf by our service providers (for example our hosting provider) for the purpose of handling your enquiry.

Server Log-Files

The provider of this website automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:

  • Browser type and Browser version
  • Operating system used
  • referrer URL
  • Host name of the accessing computer
  • Time of the server request

This data cannot be assigned to specific persons and is not merged with other data sources. We reserve the right to check this data retrospectively if we become aware of specific indications of illegal use.

Hosting, content delivery and website security

This website is hosted on the Managed WordPress infrastructure of GoDaddy. It is delivered through the content delivery and security network of Cloudflare, Inc. In this context, your IP address and technical connection data (see “Server log files” above) are processed in order to deliver the website, to protect it against attacks and to distinguish human visitors from automated requests. Cloudflare sets the strictly necessary cookie __cf_bm for this purpose.

We additionally use the plugin Security by CleanTalk to protect the website against unauthorised login attempts and automated attacks. For this purpose, IP addresses, request data and information about login attempts are processed and checked against the CleanTalk database.

The legal basis for this processing is our legitimate interest in the secure, stable and reliable operation of this website (Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR, insofar as the GDPR applies).

Contact form and contact by e-mail

If you send us an enquiry using the contact form on this website, we process the details you enter there – your name, your company or family business, your e-mail address and your message – in order to deal with your enquiry and for any follow-up questions. Before the form can be submitted, you must confirm that your details may be stored and used for this purpose. Your enquiry is forwarded to us by e-mail and may additionally be stored in the database of this website.

If you contact us directly by e-mail, we process the details you provide for the same purposes. We do not pass this data on to third parties without your consent, and we delete it as soon as it is no longer required and no statutory retention obligations prevent deletion. The legal basis is your consent and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries addressed to us.

Google Analytics 4

Subject to your consent, this website uses Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”). Google Analytics is integrated by means of the plugin “Site Kit by Google”; the measurement ID used is G-J9K8BYS162.

Google Analytics uses the cookies _ga and _ga_J9K8BYS162 and collects information about how this website is used, such as the pages you visit, the approximate region derived from your IP address, the type of device and browser you use and the website from which you reached us. According to Google, Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses; the IP address is only used to derive approximate location information and is then discarded. The statistics obtained help us to understand how our website is used and to improve it.

In addition, Google Consent Mode is active, so that Google services take your consent choices into account. In this context, data may also be transferred to Google LLC in the USA. Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and its Swiss-US extension, for which the European Commission and the Swiss Federal Council have recognised an adequate level of data protection; Google additionally relies on the EU standard contractual clauses. Fonts

The fonts used on this website are hosted locally on our own server. They are not loaded from a third-party service, so no connection to Google Fonts or any comparable provider is established and no data about your visit is transmitted to such a provider when the fonts are loaded.

Data transfer to the USA

Some of the services used on this website are provided by companies based in the USA, in particular Google, Cloudflare and GoDaddy. When these services are used, personal data such as your IP address may be transferred to servers in the USA.

For US companies that are certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and its Swiss-US extension, the European Commission and the Swiss Federal Council have recognised an adequate level of data protection. Where a provider is not certified, transfers are based on the EU standard contractual clauses together with additional safeguards. We would nevertheless like to point out that US authorities may under certain circumstances access data held by US providers, and that the legal remedies available to you against such access may be limited.
