When Daniel Dreifuss was a banker, lastly in New York, his life was fast-paced. Time was money. Then, the financial system collapsed. Dreifuss did not. He turned away from money and towards time. The spectacular time is showcased through mechanical watches. For over 25 years, this Eastern Swiss has been back in the New York of Switzerland – in Zurich. In 1997, he registered the brand Maurice de Mauriac. Since then, he has been enjoying the deceleration of careful watchmaking and selling it worldwide. Time is now love – but in a completely different way.

In 2021, he lets go of what has bound him for many years. He steps back into the third or fourth row and hands over the responsibility to his sons, Massimo and Leonard. They make many appearances together and quickly make a name for themselves in the industry – the watchbros.
